The Book Fair is here!!!!

The Book Fair will be here from March 2nd- March 9th. Today we went and created a wish list. Each student walked through the book fair and picked a couple books they would really like to have. Time to work hard on those chores! While kids are picking books remember to ask them if it’s a good fit book. Remind them of the 5 finger test. Teachers are also able to create a wish list. If you would like to buy a book for our classroom, look for the display of all the teachers’ names. There are pockets filled with books we would like to add to our classroom libraries.

Today corrected papers and Thursday Thoughts are going home. Be on the look out. You may want to check back packs J.

Remember:

Fourth Grade Read-In!

Mrs. Brown’s fourth graders are going to celebrate Read Across America day on Monday, March 2nd. We will be having an ALL-AFTERNOON READ-IN! The kids will get to choose their own reading material for the afternoon. To make this even MORE fun, kids are allowed to bring a comfy thing like a pillow or blanket, and munch on healthful snacks that they bring from home. I have had many wonderful read-ins with classes in previous years, and I’m sure this one will be great as well! Please contact me if you have any questions.
