When picking books, please remember to choose just right books.

Friday Party Treats:
We are desperately low on Friday Party treats. Unfortunately once we run out, we are out. I can not afford to fill the box by myself. If you are all able to buy 1 bag of candy that would be great. I have one parent who has been buying stuff for the parties; I just don’t want to tap her out. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Book Fair/ Young Authors Night:
The Book Fair is in full swing! Remember that tomorrow night from 5:30-7:30 you can go to the Book Fair and shop for great books for your student, and see their writing as well. They have all worked very hard on their writing and are very proud. Come see their work.

*Don’t forget, you can also buy books for our classroom too. Just check the teacher wish list at the Book Fair!

C-3 Happenings:
Mrs. Tucker is doing a great job with the class. I have had the pleasure of being in the room, getting other work done, while watching her teach. Last week they made ice cream in science while learning about the 3 states of matter. Ask your student if they can tell you the three states of Matter.

She is also taking them through the Oregon Trail. Mrs. Tucker is using real situations that could happen on the Oregon Trail to help the kids experience life on the trail.

I will post Read In pictures later tonight!
